What I do

I am a food, interiors and lifestyle photographer that works with many different types of brands to capture photographs that are published across all platforms from magazines and books to websites and social media. I collaborate with each of my clients to make sure we achieve images that clearly and vividly coincide with their brand’s style and convey the message they are looking to share.

Every client is different and therefore requires a unique approach tailored to their needs. I work in half days and full days. A half day is perfect for interior designers wanting to capture their smaller scale interior design project so they can use the images in their own portfolio and to pitch their work to magazines and other platforms. A full day is for the larger scale projects, whether it be a food shoot where we are photographing 8 different recipes or on location capturing a celebrity chef working in their outdoor kitchen.

Work with me

Because I work with such a wide array of clients I am completely flexible when it comes to working with a large team, small team or even solo. I love collaborating with food and prop stylists on set but I also have clients, such as the New York Times and Naturally magazine, that allow me to food style, prop style and photograph everything on my own. I can gather a photo team with one of my diligent digital techs and photo assistants to make a larger shoot go quickly and smoothly or I can conquer a smaller set solo and with minimal equipment.

I love to travel and thoroughly enjoy working on location for assignments. While being based in the Greater New York City area, I have regular clients all across New England and the North East, in Florida and Washington DC. I always welcome any shoot that takes me out of the studio and on location.

In the Spring of 2016 I opened up my own studio space in the beautiful Hudson Valley region of New York State. It has a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful natural lighting, an exposed brick wall and a prop room where I have my own collection of props and backgrounds for food and still life photography. I am lucky to be joined by my clients while we shoot in this space as well as work alone in the studio for remote clients that send me their products or recipes and allow me to execute my vision for their brand.
