I recently photographed and styled 3 delicious recipes for a summer spread in The New York Times about wood-fired grilling. The spread includes grilled swordfish kebabs with golden raisin chimichurri, wood-grilled Asian flavor pork chops and grilled summer beans with garlic and fresh herbs. Check out the story here, with recipe links at the bottom.
New work in Westchester Home Magazine
I have some new work photographed for Becca Interiors featured inside and on the cover of the summer issue of Westchester Home Magazine! The whole feature came out beautifully and this Hudson River Colonial project of Becca's is one of my all time favorites! I love how she mixed modern and rustic elements to create such a timeless and elegant home for such a lovely family!
The New Neutrals Project for BEHR paint
This spring we photographed a great story for BEHR paint and Apartment Therapy! The story consisted of 3 different homes throughout New York City that were each painted in a different color. The idea behind the color choices was to break ground on the 'new neutral'. Even though the homes had completely different styles, the paint colors made each space pop and gave it a clean, modern feel.
To read more about the paint colors and see more photos check out The New Neutrals Project!
New Work in Country Living Magazine
I'm very excited to share some new work I have featured in the June issue of Country Living Magazine! The feature I photographed is of a great home + farm down in Southern Florida called Blue Stallion Farm. We photographed the story back in January and I am so excited to see it come alive in the pages of the magazine. This was such a fun shoot to work on and with a wonderful crew! I hope you'll be able to pick up a copy and read the story...it is definitely an inspiration!
Crafting A Patterned Home
This month the 'sequel' to Kristin Nicholas's Crafting A Colorful Home came out! It actually launched into the world the day before my birthday which was such a nice little birthday present. As you probably have guessed from the title, this book is all about pattern! Inside Crafting A Patterned Home, Kristin has tons of DIY projects on how to creatively incorporate pattern into your home. From polka dot plates to hand-painted walls this book has everything...including a garden and pottery shed!
Kristin and I spent days styling and shooting this book and we had such a blast. After working on the first one together and countless other shoots of her home through the years, Kristin and I are always right in sync with each other. I have gotten very close with Kristin and her family and visiting their home and farm fills me with endless inspiration that I excitedly look forward to every time.
It was such an honor to work on this book with Kristin and Roost Books and I hope that you all really love it. I am so happy with the cover they picked and feel like it really represents Kristin's aesthetic, home and love of color + pattern. If you'd like to pick up a signed copy plus a little gift from Kristin + free shipping order it here.
Enjoy a little peak inside the pages....
The book has already received great reviews and press including a full home tour feature with images from the book on Apartment Therapy! For more tears from the book, click here.
