I had another wonderful opportunity this year to work with Bette Hestle of Golden Hill Studio. I love shooting for Bette because she gives me total creative freedom and trust with her brand! We style and shoot her products in lifestyle settings throughout her gorgeous property out in western New York. I absolutely love being able to collaborate with her and the amazing team of incredible people that help to make these shoots go smoothly.
Here are just a few of the images that we captured during those days of shooting:
I always love having shoots in upstate NY and connecting with fellow New Yorkers + creatives who made the move from the city to the upstate life! I had the opportunity to do both on this shoot for the National Association of Realtors + Apartment Therapy up in Greenville, NY. We photographed interior design extraordinaire, Megan Pflugβs Woodhouse Lodge room by room and with DIY tips to give you a peek into the lodge and how Megan pulled off this amazing project. I LOVED working with Megan! We had a lot of fun and she was super easy to collaborate with, hereβs to hoping there are many more collabs in the future!
Take a peek at the story here.
Back in June I traveled up to Lake Placid, NY to work for a new-to-me client, Ann Stillman OβLeary, a fabulous designer based in the Adirondacks. We spent two days up there shooting spaces that she designed for her clients. I loved working with Ann! She was super easy to collaborate with, incredibly sweet and wonderfully decisive (I love a lady who knows what they want!). It was also such a beautiful area that I loved exploring. We even enjoyed evening boat rides on the lake with a glass of wine! You canβt beat that life.
Here are some of the images we captured that week:
One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to work with the people behind the brands that I love, no matter how big or small. I love to work with other artists and makers to capture their products in a way that will really sell them and the lifestyle they represent.
Last year I purchased a piece of jewelry from Rebecca Haas. I fell in love with her work the second I saw it. Itβs simple, chic and so beautiful. We maintained a friendship via Instagram being that she is in Vermont and Iβm in New York and I have so enjoyed seeing all of the new pieces she creates. This past summer Rebecca reached out to me wondering if I would be interested in photographing her jewelry and I said heck yes! We were able to meet in person (up in Vermont-sooo lovely!), which was fabulous and we were able to work together on creating images for her website, social media and banners for when she goes to shows.
We had a blast working together and I couldnβt stop staring at all of her beautiful jewelry throughout the day! This subject matter was a little outside of my normal comfort zone but itβs important to always push yourself and after all, my passion is helping brands tell their story through photography and thatβs what we did!
When it hits 3pm and youβre looking at the clock wondering if you should indulge in a late afternoon snack or push through until dinner, The Kitchn + Sunsweet has you covered! We worked together on this shoot to give you 3 healthy and satisfying snacks that are just the right portion size so you wonβt ruin your dinner!

This summer one of my favorite clients, Rajni of Rajni Alex Design, created an incredible outdoor space for the Hampton Designer Showhouse in Bridgehampton, NY. Her space is bursting of color (which I love!), has French Mediterranean vibes throughout and donβt even get me started on that stunning bougainvillea!!
Iβm so happy I was able to capture this space for Rajni and we were all so excited with how much press coverage, reposts, mentions, etc.. she got for this project! It went viral! All winter long I will be dreaming of sitting on that sofa sipping some bubbly in the late evening glow of that beautiful summer sunshine.
